Another ‘do it scared’

I think I have written about efficacy previously, but today I had to step right through the fear. I was tasked with creating a lesson- different in form yet familiar in content. Interestingly enough, as I began, I was semi confident sharing my work, but I had an inkling it wasn’t quite it. Another surprise was that I was not nervous, but rather appreciative. The comments from my colleagues were spot on and I have a new direction, abandoning my first draft.

As Anne Lamott says it was a “sh**** first draft.” I had toyed with all that was involved in the creation of this lesson and felt much more confident in the process. I learned what I needed to learn and I will go after it tomorrow. Onward.
